Aim: To exist in a state of hyper-awareness of the numerous universe splits that are caused both directly and indirectly by one’s actions.
02
Method: The Manyworldian Para-scouter traverses a familiar environment while simultaneously tracking the location, displacement, and path possibly being taken by another version of themselves in an other universe (Para-self). To do so, the Para-scouter obeys the Manyworlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics to repeatedly split the universe, make turn-by-turn navigation decisions and calculations for two versions of themselves.

03
Note: Many versions of a person can exist with varying degrees of differences. There can almost always be a version that is a literal opposite. For the sake of simplicity, this experiment only focuses on the direct analogous para-self. The direct analogous world will be referred to as Universe B in this study.

A Detailed Step-by-Step:
As Performed by Shashwath Santosh
The Manyworldian Para-scouter heads to a controlled urban environment.
Shash: Enters the grid system of Manhattan.
![]()
A landmark is chosen as a starting point.
Shash: The Empire state building is chosen. 40.7484° N, 73.9857° W
A pair of navigational choices are established.
Shash: Allows self to walk only left and forward.
A decision making method is established.
Shash: To make a navigational decision, he contacts an ID Quantique quantum device in their laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland, which (within seconds) releases single photons into a partially-silvered mirror so that each photon will have two possible paths. According to the Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics, the photons will take both paths, but in separate universes, thereby splitting the universe.
All this is done through the Universe Splitter© system which will update the current version of him when the photon is sent. He is also able to enter his choices ‘walk left’ and ‘walk forward’ into the system and have it read out a classically random choice for him to pursue, thereby helping make a decision for him and his para-self right after the universe is split.
For eg. If the Universe Splitter© system reads ‘walk left’ to Shash, in another world, his direct analogous para-self would read ‘walk forward’.
![]()
After the Para-scouter is equipped, the walk begins.
Shash: Begins with an analogue map and pen in hand.
![]()
The universe is split before deciding on a successive navigational choice.
Shash: Upon arrival at every street junction in the grid of Manhattan, the universe split is initiated. The navigational choice prompted the Universe Splitter© system after the split is followed while simultaneously mapping the journey of the direct analogous para-self. In due course of the walk, the Para-scouter is constantly mapping the journey of the two-versions of themselves
![]()
Eventually, the walk is terminated.
Both maps are studied and the emotions felt are recited.
